About the Prospect teams: www.academypro.com Started in 2012, at the ProPlayer Baseball Academy (one of the countries longest running training facilities) with teams at the 10U, 11u, 15u, 16U and 17u age groups. The foundation of the Prospects is based around respect for the game, being a great teammate, passion in the way you play, and taking pride in what our young athletes put forward on a daily basis, both. The Prospects program does not run like a typical travel baseball organization. The Prospects are run like a Major League Farm System based on “Player Development” not on trophies. We, as a group, are not focused on the just the results but the pursuit of achieving individual goals. Just like the game, when you focus on just the results, you miss the big picture. The big picture we preach to our young athletes is: When you spend your time preparing the right way through winter training, camps, clinics, and private (1-on-1) instruction you put yourself in the best possible position to succeed on the field. In this game, if you make a commitment to learning and studying the game, you are setting yourself up for success.

The past few years the Prospects have taken pride in doing things the right way, and for the right reasons. Not focusing on the wins and losses, but the preparation to get these players to excel. If that was the main focus we wouldn’t be doing right by your kids as coaches. Our Coaches inspire, encourage and educate our players. Our staff prides itself on the way they are able to make a connection with each and every kid, while keeping the game fun, but teaching them the values of teamwork, work ethics and preparation.
